We schedule tax appointments in the order received and continue filing returns throughout the year until all are completed. If it is necessary to file an extension, the extension is a complimentary service for clients who file their taxes with TravelTax.
There is a $25 service fee if you fail to file your returns with TravelTax after we file the extension. You must submit the Extension Agreement found in your portal by midnight on April 11th to ensure the extension will be done.

Below you’ll see instructions on how to log into our client portal. in the portal, you’ll sign your initial contract with us, fill out our workbook, upload all of your W2’s and other tax documents, schedule your appointment, pay your invoice, chat with your preparer’s assistant, and a lot more.

This year, we are implementing a new policy to ensure our valuable appointments are kept and that your final invoice will be a little more affordable. After your workbook has been reviewed by our documents department, you will receive an email that will allow you to book your own appointment online. Before booking, you will be obligated to pay a $200 non-refundable retainer for our services. This retainer will reserve your appointment slot and it will be credited to your final invoice. We’ve found our clients appreciate that this allows them to split the invoice up into at least 2 payments, spread out over a few weeks.

COUPLES FILING TOGETHER: For couples filing together, if you need a partner added to or removed from your portal, drop us a line at: info@traveltax.com or call us at 402-379-7818 and we can take care of that. You will not have the option of doing that yourself. Couples can log into the same portal using their separate email addresses to complete the workbook and sign contracts and important tax documents. All contracts and documents will require both your signatures.

NOTE: If you are filing for multiple years, we will require a $200 retainer for each year before filing. after paying, you will receive an email letting you know when to call our office to schedule your tax prep appointment.

FOR COUPLES FILING TOGETHER, YOU MUST LOG INTO THE SAME ACCOUNT USING SEPARATE EMAIL ADDRESSES. IN THAT ACCOUNT, YOU CAN BOTH SIGN THE CONTRACTS AND OTHER IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS THAT YOU’LL SHARE. SOME WILL REQUIRE BOTH SIGNATURES. PLEASE DROP US A CHAT IN YOUR PORTAL OR GIVE US A CALL AND WE CAN SET THIS UP FOR YOU.

STEP 3 - SIGN YOUR CONTRACT

YOU’LL RECEIVE AN EMAIL ADVISING YOU TO SIGN YOUR CONTRACT IN THE PORTAL.

ONCE THE CONTRACT IS SIGNED, YOU’LL IMMEDIATELY HAVE ACCESS TO THE WORKBOOK, FOUND IN THE ORGANIZERS SECTION OF YOUR PORTAL. ONCE IT’S SUBMITTED WITH ALL THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS, WE’LL REVIEW YOUR DOCUMENTS AND REACH OUT IF WE NEED ANYTHING ELSE. THEN, YOU’LL RECEIVE A LINK TO SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT!
