Born & raised in Lincoln, NE, Derek graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In 2025, Derek moved here to South Carolina to be closer to his family.

Since joining TravelTax in January 2026, Derek has enjoyed helping our clients and the team with a variety of tasks throughout the day. If you give our office a call, there’s a good chance he’ll be the one helping you.

In his free time, Derek enjoys spending time with his family and friends (specifically his niece & nephew). He also loves exploring Downtown Greenville and cooking up a favorite Italian recipe at home.
