Irene is the latest addition to the TravelTax crew.
She has a lifetime of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and working with computers and while technically retired from the University of Nebraska, she planned on part time career in tax preparation with HR Block. Fortunately for us, she found the revolving-door quick-in-quick out world of a street side tax office not to her liking. In our office, she gets to apply her wide knowledge base in finances to data entering the more complicated returns of our travelers. Much more interesting.
When she is not helping us, you can find her with her grand kids or in the yard, gardening. That is one instance that it is good thing we are located in Nebraska. Our last frost date isn’t until May 15th, just after the end of tax season and the first frost is about October 1st, just in time for our extension season rush. If our offices were 100 miles south… … we’d be losing her!
